About
Multidisciplinary designer working across brand, motion, visual storytelling, and physical prototyping.
I recently completed my MFA in Visual Communication Design at Rochester Institute of Technology and am now based in New York.
I am currently looking for my next opportunity where I can bring together visual storytelling, thoughtful problem solving, and a curiosity for trying new ways of making.

My practice lives between two ways of thinking
Philosophy
I grew up in Ahmedabad, India, where making was my first way into design. In high school, I loved turning ideas
into something people could see and understand. That instinct led me to painting and a one year certificate
course where I studied color, composition, form, and observation. Painting taught me to notice details, work
with intention, and communicate without relying on words.
I later studied Visual Arts with a specialization in Visualization at The Maharaja Sayajirao University of Baroda.
My understanding of design began to expand beyond aesthetics. I became interested in how form, culture,
communication, and human behavior shape the way we experience ideas. That curiosity eventually brought me
to Rochester Institute of Technology in New York, where I completed my MFA in Visual Communication Design.
My practice expanded from visual craft into brand and product design, UX, motion, 3D design, and physical and
digital prototyping.
Working at Rochester Regional Health changed how I applied those skills. Alongside clinicians, healthcare
teams, and operational leaders, I encountered problems that did not arrive with a predetermined medium.
One challenge needed research and a physical prototype. Another needed a digital experience, a visual system,
or simply a clearer way to communicate. I learned to begin with the problem and choose the medium afterward.
Today, that is how I approach my work. I start with people, context, and constraints, then bring together visual
craft and product thinking to find the right form for an idea.
For me, design is not about choosing between beauty and function. It is about making the two work together!
